by Boozman Press Office
September 15th, 2008

Congressman Boozman announces more than $2 million for water supply improvements for Pea Ridge and Elkins. The funds were appropriated through the recently passed 2008 Farm Bill.

Pea Ridge will receive a loan for $1,044,000 and the Mt. Olive Water Association in Elkins will receive a $1,159,000 loan to impove the water supply of the community.

The funding was approved by the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development Program, which administers water and wastewater loans and grants to improve the quality of life and promote economic development in rural America.
