    Energy- I DO NOT support opening the ANWR. As a country we need to focus more on conserving energy.
    Immigtation - English should be our official language. We should do a better job of decreasing the # of immigrents-legal or illegal entering the country. Mexico should be a part of keeping people from entering this country Illegally.

    The Medicare Perscription drug plan is helping me.

    Would also like to see more funds spent on programs affecting children particularly cancer. Check out the website of the We Care Foundation & you will understand why I am interest in this.

    Military - I support the men and women serving & approved of the troup surge.

    Re: survey mailer
    1- I support opening the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for oil and gas exploration. With new technologies, there should be little if any impact on the environment.
    2-New citizens should be required to learn English, and English should be our country’s official language. NO amnesty of any kind should be granted to anyone that has entered the country illegally. They are criminals and should be treated as such!
    3-Health care should be reformed to bring costs down, but having the government in charge is not the answer. A friend is presently waiting for a bed at the VA in Little Rock for a much needed surgery. If the government is in charge of all medical care, no one will be well served.
    4-We should remain on course in Iraq as long as the Iraqis are working on their end of the deal. Pulling out prematurely, will definitely increase the threat of attacks here at home.
    5-How can privacy be preserved on the survey post card that is returned in the mail? At least a foldover type card would be a little more secure.
