A failed Congress
by Boozman Press Office
December 3rd, 2007

The editors of the National Review (admittedly, a publication with a conservative outlook) take the Pelosi-led Congress to task.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid return to work this week. But the Congress they lead is already a failure, no matter what they now do.

When they took power, they had three major goals: to end the war in Iraq, cripple this presidency, and pave the way for a Democratic sweep next year. They have failed in all three respects.

One Response to “A failed Congress”

  1. Cara Flinn Says:

With all due respect Congressman Boozman, isn’t this post like the pot calling the kettle black? Aren’t you a member of the Congress? Isn’t it your duty as an elected representative of the people to work with the leaders for the good of ALL people in your district (not just the Republicans in your district)?

However, as far as I’m concerned, yes, Pelosi is a failure as a leader if for no other reason than because she has failed to hold the Cheney/Bush administration accountable. She should have initiated impeachment proceedings against them immediately upong taking her oath of office. By refusing to do so, she is complicit in their destruction of our consitutional system of law.
