Democracy is Alive in Iraq

Today, millions of Iraqis are exercising their freedom to elect representation in their parliament. They are defying terrorist threats to participate in the future of their country and their ballots are visible reminders of how far we have come in Iraq. I congratulate the people of Iraq on this historic occasion.
